The vibe
A beloved hillside muni on the east bench with valley views and a hundred years of city-golf history.
Holes we're watching
The holes we expect to make or break our round here:
- The downhill holes with the whole Salt Lake valley laid out below
- A quirky doglegs-and-bunkers stretch that rewards a brain over a big swing
How hard is it (on paper)?
Sidehill lies everywhere; flat stances are a luxury you will rarely get.
We're beginners, so our plan is simple: play it forward a set of tees. Nobody has ever regretted a shorter, more makeable round — and the scorecard thanks you for it.
Our game plan
How we want to play Bonneville Golf Course when we get there: Salt Lake locals who want a scenic, affordable, walkable round close to home. We'll keep it in play off the tee, aim for the fat part of every green, and treat bogey as a great score while we learn.
Price & tee-time tips
Expect green fees around $30–$45 depending on season and time of day. A city muni, so it books up — grab weekday twilight for the best value and the best light.
