The vibe
A full-length city muni on the west side — longer than the other budget tracks, with mature trees and enough room to swing freely.
Holes we're watching
The holes we expect to make or break our round here:
- The longer par-4s that reward your first real, committed drives
- Tree-lined corridors that make a straight ball feel amazing
How hard is it (on paper)?
A step up in length from the easy munis; still very playable from the forward tees.
We're beginners, so our plan is simple: play it forward a set of tees. Nobody has ever regretted a shorter, more makeable round — and the scorecard thanks you for it.
Our game plan
How we want to play Glendale Golf Course when we get there: Beginners ready to stretch out to a full-length round without resort prices. We'll keep it in play off the tee, aim for the fat part of every green, and treat bogey as a great score while we learn.
Price & tee-time tips
Expect green fees around $30–$40 depending on season and time of day. Twilight rates are a steal for a full 18. Bring a cart if you want to film efficiently.
